‘Ghostbusters’ actor dies at age 63
The actor who played the ghostbuster in the 1986 movie Ghostbusters died at age 64, TMZ reported.
Michael E. Moore, best known for playing the cyborg Harold Ramis, died Wednesday at the age of 63.
He was a beloved fixture on Hollywood’s set for decades.
Moore also starred in the TV series Battlestar Galactica.
Moore was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2013.
He also battled chronic fatigue syndrome and chronic back pain.
In the years since the movie hit theaters, Moore said he’d tried different drugs and medications, but eventually found a natural way to live with his condition.
He told TMZ that he began to see a doctor after being diagnosed with cancer.
Moore said doctors told him his disease was not curable.
The Hollywood Reporter said Moore had a “somewhat troubled past.”
In a 2015 interview with the site, he said he felt “more alone than I had in years.”
