Pizza place opens in Houston, shuts down for lack of customers
Pizza shop owners in Houston are taking a page out of Chipotle’s playbook by closing their doors for lack-of-customers.
Owner Chris Rios told KHOU that he’s been struggling to make ends meet while his business is closed.
“We have to be in the restaurant business.
We have to have people come in.
We don’t have that luxury,” he said.
He added that it’s “not going to be that easy” to make the same profit he had a year ago.
Rios said he’s hoping to reopen in a new location sometime this summer, but that he won’t be able to until a few more months have passed.
